Gwen Vaccaro, RN., owner of Pleasant Touch and practicing esthetician (skin care therapist), celebrates 25 years of service to the Greenbelt community. She has owned and operated Pleasant Touch since 1995, Bringing the latest in practices and product for face and bodies to clients choosing to come here for services. Her background in nursing taught her the importance of continuing education, sharing her knowledge of skin care with her clients.

John Wiemann is a sensitive caregiver using several forms of massage based on the client's individual needs. Among the variety of treatments he utilizes are Swedish of European, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular stretching, myofascial release, and energy balancing. John takes a holistic approach to his work and will offer suggestions regarding exercise and relaxation techniques that will benefit the client between visits to allow him or her to receive the most benefit from the massage.
 

Mary-Anne Fonka is a licensed Skin Therapist and has a certificate in Beauty and Wellness, specializing in Massage Therapy. Electrolysis, Make-up Artistry, Permanent Make-up and other advanced skin care modalities from Ana Visage Institute of Advanced Scientific Skin Care. Ms Fonka also has a bachelors degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Schiller Inter-nation University of Paris, which allowed her to travel widely and be exposed to many cultures, giving her an added advantage in customer relations as well as versatility in the wide range of spa services she offers. She is committed to enhancing the total well-being of her clients.

Heather Hanko is a licensed professional counselor in Maryland and received her Master's in Counseling from Marymount University in Virginia. Her clinical experience includes but is not limited to work with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief and life crisis as well as challenges associated with disabilities. She offers individual, group and family therapy in her private practice in DC and has recently joined us at Pleasant Touch to provide individual and group services.

Sarah Sisler is Pleasant Touch’s front desk manager.  You’ll find either Sarah or one of our other desk staff members Chanae Jones or Oyin Apena ready to assist you on the phone or in the office with the information you need to make your visit the most pleasant possible.
